The crab fried rice with pineapples and curry puffs is my go to. And the shrimp friend dumplings. The place is small but the staff is cool as accommodating. The take out is just as good.
Thai iced tea is delicious and my go to dish is pad broccoli they give a decent amount and the sauce in this dish is great!
Great food! Nice people! Fast and quality service. I order food from Am Thai every time I'm in NY! It is the best.
So after hanging with a friend at the King's Theatre, we headed to Am Thai Bistro for dinner. Although this place is small, it was very inviting. We were greeted by JOY who was truly that. After reviewing the menu, she gave us some great recommendations for drinks, appetizers, and food. So for starters, we had the crab rangoon, spring rolls, chicken wings, and dumplings. Then we had the Pad Thai and I had the Pad See Ew, which was right on point. Joy's recommendations were spot on cause the food was flavorful and amazingly filling. Please check this place out cause it won't disappoint.
Had the holy basil fried rice and it was good! Very nice basil flavor and the portions are generous. The tomyum soup also had good flavors and I'm glad they have a lot of options for the proteins, catering to vegetarians and vegans. The lemonade is a bit too sweet for us.
Loved this place! We were visiting the Brooklyn Museum and craving noodles so we stopped by this restaurant. The service was great! Very small and intimate space but they make it work. The food was really really good. The Thai Ice Tea was so good, my first time trying it. They have been here for years! You can tell by the way customers come in and out, and how they have orders lined up for delivery. Even then they're very patient and attentive to their guests. Would come back!
Jumbo mojito didn't get me buzzed. Plus they don't let you sit and drink, they rush the food to you. Let me drink first, then order. I'll order more then.
I came here for my birthday last week and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was on point, thank Joy for being a great waitress and trying to get us drunk. The restaurant is quaint, cute and on the smaller side. Probably can fit about 20 people. We had an array of appetizers: Chicken Satay Chives Chicken and Shrimp Dumplings Shrimp Rolls Fresh Mango Salad Bistro Roti (not pictured) Jumbo Margarita and Lychee Martini The margarita was strong, strong. The lychee martini at first was mild but they spiked it for free and it was strong. The drinks were huge. The food was fresh and tasty. I loved the mango salad and the crunchiness of the cashews.
